Pipe Village - The Chinese Pipe Smoking Community

Pipe Village is a pro bono project I started working with since Aug, 2001 through this very moment. My mission is simple -- I'd love to do something nice and interesting, by creating a decent haunt for fellow-pipesmokers, also perhaps making it a personal fullfillment towards idealism and elistism (but it has nothing to do with the monetary values of the pipes we collect and / or smoke).

For the past years, many great Chinese pipe people all around the world, joined and together with me built our cosy little place even much better. Pipe Village has hopefully thrived into a one-of-a-kind matrix that transends the common ideas of merely a website or a forum -- there're the very values and ethos of Pipe Village's. I believe we have achieved some spectacular accomplishments that are both idealistic but still viable; elistist but ain't no snobbish; and not less importantly, something different beyond the secular Internet world while at the same time still making most people very happy.
